Manage billing settings, payment methods, and invoices from your Jamdesk dashboard.

## Accessing Billing

1. Click your avatar in the top right
2. Select **Settings**
3. Navigate to **Billing**

## Payment Methods

### Adding a Payment Method

    Navigate to **Settings** → **Billing**.

    Select **Manage Subscription** to open the billing portal.

  <Step title="Add payment method">
    Click **Add payment method** and enter your card details.

We accept:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover

### Updating Payment Method

To change your card:

1. Open the billing portal
2. Click **Update payment method**
3. Enter new card details
4. Save changes

### Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

1. You'll receive an email notification
2. Update your payment method within 7 days
3. We'll retry the charge automatically

After 3 failed attempts, your subscription pauses.

## Invoices

### Viewing Invoices

1. Go to **Settings** → **Billing**
2. Click **View invoices**
3. Download PDF invoices for any period

### Invoice Details

Each invoice includes:
- Subscription period
- Projects billed
- Add-ons
- Tax (if applicable)
- Payment status

## Subscription Changes

### Starting Your Paid Plan Early

If you're on a free trial and want to activate your paid plan right away (for example, to add more projects):

1. Go to **Subscription**
2. Click **Start Paid Plan Now**
3. Confirm in the modal — your payment method will be charged immediately

Your billing cycle starts from that date and you get full access to project add-ons right away.

### Canceling

To cancel your subscription:

1. Go to **Settings** → **Billing**
2. Click **Cancel subscription**
3. Confirm cancellation

You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

<Note>
Canceling doesn't delete your projects. You can resubscribe anytime to restore full access.

## Billing Cycle

- Subscriptions bill monthly
- Charges occur on the same day each month
- Add-ons are prorated for partial months
