Understand page views, visitors, traffic sources, and engagement metrics in the Jamdesk analytics dashboard.

The analytics dashboard shows page views, visitors, and engagement metrics for your documentation site.

Accessing Analytics

  1. Select your project from the dashboard
  2. Click Analytics in the sidebar

The analytics dashboard shows:

  • Page views — Total pages viewed
  • Unique visitors — Individual users
  • Average time on page — Engagement metric
  • Top pages — Most visited documentation

Time Range

Select the time period to analyze:

  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Custom range

Page Views

Track which pages users visit most:

Unique viewsIndividual users who viewed the page
Avg. timeAverage time spent on the page
Bounce rateUsers who left without visiting another page

Top Pages Report

See your most popular documentation:

  1. Go to AnalyticsPages
  2. Sort by views, time, or bounce rate
  3. Click a page to see detailed metrics

Visitors

Understand your audience:

  • New vs returning — First-time vs repeat visitors
  • Geography — Visitor locations by country
  • Devices — Desktop, mobile, tablet breakdown
  • Browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.

Traffic Sources

See where visitors come from:

  • Direct — Typed URL or bookmark
  • Search — Google, Bing, etc.
  • Referral — Links from other sites
  • Social — Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
